I'm going up to Valdez AK april 2-8 to ski with some friends. Isn't there a trooper who fishes in AK? I couldn't remember who. Anyone? Does anybody know anything about the Halibut fishing out of Valdez? I can't think of many things I'd rather have filling my freezer. Any info. appreciated. TIA. I can't fucking believe I'm actually doing this but I'd be an idiot to pass up a free plane ticket.

This trip was utterly amazing-the trip of a lifetime. I didn't have a chance to fish. I had a capt. all lined up but bluebird conditions, powder and heli, snowmobile and backcountry skiing took precedence. Here's some pics of the fun. I may continue to add some to appropriate threads or here as I go through them in attempt to make y'all jealous.
