Boozery-WAYD?

The What Are You Drinking? thread!

To start it off, I picked up a 6 pack of Sam Adam's Blackberry Witbier and a 6er of St. Arnold's Fancy Lawnmower, brewed down Hwy. 59 in Houston.

I'd had the blackberry once in a drunken fury at a brewery fest and thought I remembered liking it. It's pretty good, quite refreshing which is nice with this heat today. Just a small hint of the blackberry taste, which is good. I don't generally like the fruit beers but I was feeling brave. Like I said, it's perfect for a hot day.

The St. Arnold's isn't bad at all either, not really my thing but not bad. It's got a nice flavor, just seems a little light. Something I could easily sit in the boat and drink a case of, so I'll have to remember that once I finally get back on the water.

I'm going back to some stronger stuff tomorrow. :D

I usually drink whats on sale...most of the time Pabst or Yuengling.

This weekend we are going to a margarita contest and my wife is entering with a watermelon/spearmint margarita which she has been testing on me all week.

She bought a bunch of Cuervo and that stuff does not mix well with watermelon. I'll take a pic tonight maybe.

I like margaritas too Red. Im not too sure about watermellon, but the spearmint intrests me...

If you don't get a photo, I think you should make a video of yourself after too much "testing"

When Im not into the blatz light, I enjoy marinating my liver in some Stinky Gringo

That glass is wicked!

Picked up a Breckenridge sampler pack this evening, contains Avalanche Amber, Vanilla Porter, an oatmeal stout, and Lucky U IPA. It didn't seem to list what was in it, so it was a nice little mystery pack. I've had the porter before and it's fantastic. Just cracked open an oatmeal stout and it's great as well, needs to be colder though. I couldn't wait any longer. I'll report on the other two after I get good and drunk. Should be a good night. Go Colorado
