Daily Fishing Thread

Re: Daily Fishing Thread

I spent the entire night pushing snow to open the ski hill for what may be the last day of the season. We opened at 9a. I stuck around for a few hours while the Crackers had a brunch party at the mid-mountain chalet, but snuck out soon after to do some shit fishin'.

I went to the Neosho millpond, which is just starting to open up near the dam. I pilfered a bunch of Guinness from the cooler before I left, and enjoyed the sunshine for a bit.

Still no luck with my boilies. But, when I was packing my shit up, one of my lines was picked clean

That is really cool Chum! I went by my favorite pond this morning and the ice is melting. Supposed to be 60 on Thurs so I hope to make it out. The pond has given up some hogs right after ice out.

Finally got out to my "secret spot" for the first time this year. both yesterday and today. 4-5 each day, smallest about 8-9" biggest about 14-15". all fun to catch & get the dust and cobwebs off my gear.

Nice Whalen! Feels good to get out there.

I hit the back bay with 2 of my buddies on Tuesday after work. The weather was awesome in the 60's. We had schoolie bass and small blues on pink finesse jigs. Good times. My waders are still leaking dammit.
