Hey guys! I have not posted in forever. Shit has been busier then ever at work, which is an awesome thing, so my time on the internets is limited. As always you guys have been catching some awesome fish. Sparra and SC - Nice friggen catches. Some quality fish guys. I've been fishing a bunch from the boat and beach and cleaning up pretty nicely. I've improved my beach game especially using lures. Striper season is about a month away from ending but I'll still be pluggin until January from the beach and then I'll be heading to the warm water outflows to pick on some resident bass. Here's a few shots from the season:

Howdy Troopers. Been a long while. Got busy at the end of the summer, and fall fishing was good but I didn't take many pictures. Then I got busy filling the freezer with tasty, tasty venison and so it goes.

But the hard water is here and the fishing is getting hot. Redford Renegade and I braved the early ice and were rewarded with a pile of trout.

Nice brown presented for maximum effect.

And the kill shot

Hopefully many more to follow. Tight lines.

Nice trout Drake! We have a few trout lakes down here, but I haven't been able to find any trout through the ice so far after a few attempts. They are illusive because they seem to maybe like deeper water which adds a 3rd dimension (depth) to my usual shallow-water search.

I am ready to slay toothy pike through the ice this weekend. I have a 30 pack of beer, some tip ups and a roll of toilet paper.
