Nice to see ben return from the depths! Still slaying.

I've been tying flies too and wishing I could break the boat out of storage. We did a shitload of fishing this past weekend, everyday for 4 days......caught a lot of fish but not too many BT photo worthy.

Hey guys - Nice to see the posts are still coming in. Great fish from everone posting. I've been doing well pulling stripers out of the water all winter. It's nice to know I can get my fix until spring which mine as well be here already with the fucked weather we are having.
So I got an idea to get some troopers together this year. Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, NJ is the ideal spot for a gathering. Depending on what time of year will dictate what you can pull from the surf. If we do a late spring thing/early summer we caould have big striped bass up on the beach. If we do a mid summer deal, we could have a sharking party. I'd personally like to see big bass getting hammered but I'm down for whatever. Kick this idea around and let me know who would be down to make the drive/fly out. It would be great to meet up with you guys/gals and fish together for some great memories. I'll start a new thread but I wanted to get this up in here since it seems to be the most viewed. -James

I am so down with that Jim Bass. My buddy and I were planning on doing a Striper/Stripper/Stryper tour this spring around the same time. 4 days, 3 states, Conn., RI., and Jersey. We could condense and do two days in Jersey if the meetup is happening and there is titty bars open. Stryper is optional.

Thanks for the invite musky.
I'm getting some dirt cheap plane tickets around the start of August .
James, would it be possible to have the brownie troop shark fest around the second week of August? I would love to meet and fish with you guys.
It doesn’t matter to us.

I did my first radio show this morning and it was a blast! They said they would like to have me back... The two hours went by way to fast.

Well there's no reason why we couldn't meet twice? One for stripers and one for sharking.
Andrew - If you can get out here for the second week in August, I'd be down to rock a sharkfest. That would be a perfect time. Water is nice and warm at that point. I could have my buddy bring his paddle board out with him and we can place baits 100 - 150 yards out for the big girls. It would be great to fish with you! Let's do it.
RR - I like the spring idea as well. Big stripers from the beach. Titty bars are all over the place. Atlantic City has the best ones. My buddy runs Bare Exposures.

the weather in ohio this winter has been so unseasonably warm nothing froze over. i went out for the first time yesterday and caught 3 really nice LM's.

This 20" 4.5lber was my first Ohio Bass of the 2012 season. A sign of things to come?

Nice fish troopers!
I just got back from a trip to the Tampa area. Me and my wife and mom went out with a guide for a trip down there. This is our third trip out with him and he is an awesome guide if anyone is down that way looking for a trip. http://www.swiftfishcharters.com/charter/
It was an awesome 80 degree day in sunny FL catching snook all day.

We also caught some ladyfish. They are considered shitfish down there but they fight like mofos and make lots of jumps. They are so brown they shit all over your boat when you try to unhook them.
