El Cheapo DIY Spinning reel line spooler - no twist!

Yeah, not as cheap as laying the spool on the ground, but less prone to twistage, YES, even if you let the line coil off in the proper direction...

I just had to pull out a few washers/ gaskets from the spool, then used neoprene-lined sealing washers to avoid scratching the reel spool. along with a 6-32 nut and a 1/8" toggle bolt minus the spring clip. tighten the reel spool to the bolt, attach to a drill chuck, and use the box the line comes in to add friction to the line as you guide it evenly onto the reel spool. EASY!

Nice Pete - I'll have to try that method. Does the last shot depict what you'll feel like after successfully spooling your line. Gel sole

Wacky Worm Saver:

I love fishing wacky worms but a full day on the water casting, fishing structure and hopefully hooking a bunch of fish will cost you many a Yamamoto worm. A 10 pack can cost $8 and a 10 pack can get hammered in minutes when the bite is on ......SO, check this out, Fish the wacky rig with a rubber ring/band for durability and savings. I use them and they work great. This is a link to the store bought shizz. http://wackywormsaver.com/

Now for the super cheap DIY brown style Wacky Worm Saver rig....

The key is the 250 Super Strong braid bands for $2.35, DOPE! I found the ones in the picture at Walmart in the Black hair care products section and I know you can get the at Walgreen's as well. I double the rubber band over and it is the perfect size.

Take two pair of pliers to a sharpie and separate the body from the colored tip (see pic), it comes apart pretty easy, have a paper towel ready for cleanup & a trashcan handy to dump the pen guts into. Put a short screw in the end of the pen with a washer or 2 on the screw, (see picture, this is the band holder)

This setup will hold a 4" Yamamoto perfectly.

Giggidy!
