Over the winter my DVR is filled with fishin shows, much to the dismay of the yak. Obviously aside from the soon to be Emmy nominated Brownie Troop Fishing Show, here's the ones i like
City Limits Fishing- i have a total mancrush on mike iaconelli. i mean seriously, the dude break dances on his deck when he catches a lunker. I'm a huge Ike fan, and it's pretty cool he grew up fishing the Delaware just a stone's throw from Mickey. Also, i do almost all of my fishing within the city limits of columbus and i really dig the concept of this show
Lindner's Angling Edge- i would give my left nut to fish with the lindner family. just as long as they dont talk about jesus while we fish
The Bass Pros- although this is primarily a 30 minute ad for Bass Pro Shops, i love to watch the best fisherman on the planet, kevin van dam talk about his techinques. i've learned a hell of alot from this program
Fishin with Roland Martin- i'll be goddamned if this show isn't primarily Roland pimping products, but you can't deny the enthusiasm this old man has for fishing and sharing his knowledge. it's one of the first shows i watched and it was ol roland who taught me how to texas rig a senko. he's partially responsible for me landing thousands bass
what says you fuggers?
