Daily Fishing Thread

I saw that after my post when I went looking for it! The original episodes with Ike are great - he caught a bass out of Central Park In NYC, how cool would that be!
I have not seen an episode with the new host and can't find the episode online, yet...
I am stoked to see it and see if any of our spots overlap. Did they catch any bass? I have seen Small mouth come out of the Platte and a few other odd balls from the reservoirs upstream. It is a great fishery for an urban river. I can't wait to see the episode! Thanks again for the heads-up.

Dag Drake, that is a nice pike!

We finally got out on the ice this weekend and took a quick picture of the biggest bass I have ever seen (in real life, anyway) before cramming him back down the hole:

We also managed to catch a handful of decent-sized perch that we cleaned and deep fried. Not a bad day. I'm glad we got out when did now that the weather is warm again. I feel like winter is almost over, and it hasn't started yet.

What a fat cold slob! Great job.

I only got a few good sized perch through the ice this past weekend. Fried them up and ate them down. Perch through the ice is dayum good.

Sperra, I always look forward to your posts, keep'em coming. Damn nice green carp there... pike too.. i got a feather in my cap yesterday. I received a phone call from Matt Straw from the In Fisherman staff. We did 30 minute interview for the muskie/pike edition due out in March. We'll see what it turns out like. Here are some pics. from when Chum andf I went out including a spotted bass that was a few oz's under the state record.Image Image Image
