the dee wright observatory is built w/the lava rock, ontop of the lava rock. you can go up and view all the different cascades and things.

Beautiful pics Moth. Looks like a great trip. My fav pic is of the banana slugs. :lol: banana slug :lol:

Damn - I haven't popped my head in here for a while. MOTH - it's like your running a mini national geographic blog here. Beautiful shots - ALL of them. Those water fall shots look amazing, especailly the one that captures the whole thing. It looks like a waterfall tree. It reminds me I need to get out with my little girl an feast her eyes on some nature. She's taken to terrain pretty nicely, like a little romper stomper.

ty...C: well, haven't gotten a fish to bite the last 5x out...always a lull during the hottest days of summer. the water is high and there's plenty of buggies hatchin. the mosquitoes are at their worst, too.

there's a wildfire near thee spot, just a couple miles south of here...could barely breathe this mornin. thankfully, the smoke has went down quite a bit this afternoon.
